I apologize for bringing this up again, but people keep commenting on how I party all the time! That is so far from the truth. In fact, I also devote a large part of my time watching TV!

what? you want me to bore you with my actual real life of work, thesis, politics and bigotry? no, right? you wanna see schoolgirls, japanese craziness and if you're Yoko, super super hot dark guys
...as promised, for you, a random "dark" guy, mr Wentworth Miller, who stars in one of my favorite tv shows this season, Prison Break

hey, give the guy a break! he was in Dinotopia after all!
as for me, I still think this guy is by far the best

and his girlfriend too
speaking of girlfriends, I also have been watching this japanese drama called 女系家族, or Nyokei Kazoku which literally means "Family of Women,"

which is not what most of you guys think it is, but it's an uber-dramatic drama that should be translated into "Matriarchy" or "Bunch of biatches ganging up on their dead-dad's young girlfriend who's having his baby who will take all the inheritance away from them"

did I say too much of the story? haha

oh yes! but I do not watch vein-cutting programs all the time! season 2 of Lost, thanks to Richard-Attorney-At-Law-Almost who keeps me posted, is keeping me on the edge, great (ODD) plot...and that 70s show of course!

and old seasons of Futurama

that is seriously a great show, well, most of the time!

enough of that! you ready for more party? i think this girl is!

This time, we blessed the OC with our presence, to go to Mr.Miami's brother's birthday...cool stuff the OC, although I do not remember any of it...except of course watching the grandiose UCLA game

and as the night "calmly" winded down, I decided to pretend to be canadian...it worked!! but with questionable results...hahaha

speaking of random ladies, the Hooker finally sent me some interesting j-pop, which features first...on the top 10. Note: Eri is produced by Mondo Grosso! will that guy ever come to the States???!!!! Note #2: couldn't help making this top 10 almost all japanese~ teeheehee

1. Eri Nobuchika - I hear the music in my soul
2. Mondo Grosso feat. BoA - Everything Needs Love[Cornelius Remix]

Enjoying my second car-less night boohoo, it feels like when you leave home without your keys, or without your watch (if you're stuck in the 80s) or cell phone (if you're evolved)... well it's pouring outside, a rarity - of course - in L.A., and it's cold, as cold as Japan in spring, but for Los Angeles wusses it's like Fargo

The past two days seemed like the greatest disaster struck L.A., man, accidents everywhere, floodings and what not, all for some rain and thunder...we were this close to evacuate!
wusses wusses

speaking of wusses

I, clearly, am not one.

It's looks like I have been partying more and more each week, and it is, in fact,

quite true~!! This time, it was time for me and my partner in nightlife to bless a reggae event with our presence, Jah be blessed, at the Dragonfly...special guest, dancehall grandpa Sugar Minott!

and the bird!

It was a very very good night, and I felt the vibes until the day after, to a point that I listened to dub and reggae all day at work that pissed off my cubicle neighbor. tough luck Jah be blessed rastafarai HAILE selassssssiaiaiaiaiaiaiaih

We colonized your asses, haile selassie whores! Italian Pride RePrAzEnT!

am I tripping? yes..that's what happens when you deprive a Los Angeleno of his car, Jah be blessed.

Well, Jah be blessed, come to think of it, about the same time last year I had the accident that brought away half of my car...odd, huh rastafarai!
yes, honor to you Haile Selassie, the car was kaputt, so I went to party up north haha

Jah be blessed, what a night~!

oh yes, what a night

Now, 2003, same time...well I was freezing my butt off, Jah sorry, yah mon, haile selassie...Nagano! and my infimous taco parties!
Jah, how I miss those times sooo much~!!!

mojo man

or height difference, whichever works

and 2002! at that time this year I was, indeed, freezing more, mon, Jah be blessed, so I tried to find warmth with my tokyo girls..
but they took me to Nikko

where they cared more about the monkeys than me hehehe

Jah be blessed, but is the weekend here yet?
I deserve a kiss for my infinite patience, mon!

BOW TO ME

The simple fun of visiting presidential libraries! Indeed, last weekend was very
anti-cultural, first visiting bad ole Nixon in good ole Viet/Republican Orange
County, and then visiting traitor "Star Wars" Reagan in arid/Republican Simi
Valley. Of course, the rhetoric in those museums was disgustingly forgetful of
what history should be, but they were fairly interesting, I mean, the Nixon
one was, while the Reagan one had a nice garden, oh an a nice replica of what
the Office

Conservatives, right-wing, war-mongering, Jesus-toting bigots and liars
rest in peace, hopefully more like you will join those two buried bastards
so you can rot happily ever after

speaking of happy, we went to a concert at Xes of a band whose name
now is lost in this bottle of alcoholic water I'm drinking, neato
burrito, and it had rap too

and one happy cousin too!

oh, la top dies
1. Troubleman ft. Spacek - Without you
2. Funky Technicians aka Total Science - One world
3. 7 Samurai - Brothers
4. Conga Squad - I'm hot for you [original version]
5. Playgroup - Front 2 Back [Todd Terry mix]
6. Caribou - Hello hammerheads
7. 1200 Warriors - Rock dat boat
8. Mondo Grosso - Souffles [King Street Club mix - Mondo Grosso re-edit]
9. Mochico - Mochico 7.5 [Eddie Amador's L.A. remix]
10. Drop The Lime - Glassy eyes [Cufflings mix]

see ya~

wow, I was sooooooo motha##$@$#EwedafuCking pissed JUST A
second ago, stupid Firefox is a real piece of SHIT let me just
say that
coincidentally, a minute ago, my dreadful monday died with
the coming of peaceful midnight....
what the hell is up with mondays? why oh why?
the only moment of clarity today were my cousins coming over
to watch the Packers crash, burn, rise and burn again
but at least Brett Favrrerere got a load of points for our
fantasy football teams..
the weekend was all like that...thoughtless moments of
sincere alcoholic opportunities and smiles haha

but before we dig into deeper, the top 10
1. Nouvelle Vague - This is not a love song
2. Studio Apartment - Sambao
3. Jamiroquai - Seven days in sunny June [Planetary Crash mix]
4. Blockhead - Carnivores Unite
5. Caia - Jericho
6. Beatfanatic - African Love
7. Musique (The Lisa Marie Experience) - Keep on jumping
8. Yann Fontaine - Soul Fonction
9. Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band - Cherchez la femme
10. The Plant Life - When she smiles (she lights the sky)

It all began ages ago, last Thursday, when the Sharls went to
check out a set by Miguel Migs, in this super crowded new
Hollywood venue called "Vanguard"

just kiddin', we got there too unfashionably early, but the
music was nice, and the bootay shakin' became contageous as the
night went on! sweateee people sexy people I say!

But it wasn't over! The day after, despite that little
annoyance called job, the party continued at an old 3north
buddy and UCLA political celeb for his "P" party
so that's me "P"anda, "P"uppeteer, "P"enis" with Dave the "P"unkrocker

oooh yes the PANDA was back with a vengeance!

drunk little bastard
next is Sharls again, but as a "P"rincess, then we have a
"P"aperboy, a "P"oliceman and a "P" uh... "P"ossibly drunk Sean

there were actually three Policemen, and a cop woman, a pope,
a couple of prostitutes, a prison inmate, a pocket of aces, a
pornstar, a persian (so wroong), and

oh yes!
I mean, oh no!

I also went to my company's party by the beach, but sorry,
no photos, as 1) it was not too interesting; 2) too much sand;
3) my hands were full of bbq sauce...eh! what can you do, eh?
Railroad people do know how to party harty - well, almost
But this is what actually happened in my mind

Right after that, and this is Saturday, I met up with some peeps
in a restaurant in SaMo, where the only uncoupled people
were, as always, Sharls and I...oh and Iman's bro, future magician

and of course

A VERY MERRY UN-BIRTHDAY TO YOU ShaSha! haha
